I went out for lunch with friends today. I feel really guilty, especially since my husband went out too (but with some of my family). Side note - the fire alarm went off in the middle of it - I've never had that happen before!

The electrician did all his work in the kitchen yesterday. At $60 an hour it sounds like a lot of money, but he's so worth it. He always installs fixtures and appliances for us when he doesn't have to and has great ideas. What a pal.
